Where is the Northern Forest?

The Northern Forest stretches from Liverpool and Chester to Hull, through Manchester, Salford, Bradford, Leeds and Sheffield, as well as including Lancashire, much of North Yorkshire and parts of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

The map below shows the area covered by the Northern Forest – just over 10,000 square miles in total – and the Community Forests that operate within each area.
